US Ambassador to Qatar Dana Shell Smith has congratulated the State of Qatar and its government and people on the occasion of the National Day, stressing the strong relations between the two countries in various fields.
In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA) on the occasion, the US Ambassador extended, on her behalf and on behalf of the people of the United States, her best wishes to HH the Emir and the government and people of Qatar on this great occasion.
The US Ambassador also noted the importance of the growing relations between the United States and the State of Qatar, looking forward to further advancing the strong friendship between the two countries.
She further emphasised that the growing economic investment and ties between the US and Qatar, the increasing number of Qatari students in the US and the close cooperation on issues that affect the world is a testament to the strength of bilateral relations. Smith expressed confidence that the two countries' partnership will reach broad prospects in the future, renewing congratulations for all Qataris on this dear occasion.
