Doha, Qatar: Old Doha Port and Al Shaqab yesterday announced the signing of a strategic partnership agreement under which Old Doha Port becomes the official sponsor of the Al Shaqab League.
This collaboration aims to strengthen cooperation between national institutions and support sports and cultural activities across the country.
The signing ceremony took place at Al Shaqab’s headquarters in the presence of senior representatives from both sides. Al Shaqab was represented by Khalid Sanad Al-Nuaimi, Event Director, while Mohamed Al Atwan, Chief Operations Officer, represented Old Doha Port.
This partnership reflects the commitment of both parties to supporting Qatari sports, particularly equestrianism, which is a deeply rooted part of Qatar’s heritage and culture. It also seeks to further enhance the status of the Al Shaqab League as a leading sporting platform that brings together top riders from around the region and promotes values of excellence and sportsmanship.
