Doha to open 2026 Longines Global Champions Tour season in March

Amsterdam: The organizing committee for the Longines Global Champions Tour and the Global Champions League announced that Doha will host the opening round of the 2026 season, from March 5-7, at the Longines Arena in Al Shaqab.

The organizing committee also announced eight other destinations during the upcoming season, which marks the 20th season of the Longines Global Champions Tour. The second round will be in Miami, USA, from April 3-5, while the third round will be held in Mexico City from April 16-19.

Madrid will host the 4th round from May 15-17, while the 5th round will be held in Cannes, France from June 4-6, followed by the 6th round in Saint-Tropez, France from June 11-13, and the 7th round in Paris, France from June 19-21.

London will host the 8th round from August 7-9, with the dates for the remaining rounds to be determined in the coming period.

The Longines Global Champions Tour in season "2025" has started from Doha "Al Shaqab," passing through Mexico City, Shanghai, Madrid, Cannes, Saint-Tropez, Paris, Monaco, London, then Valkensfard, Resenbeck, New York, Vienna, Rome, Rabat, and Riyadh, with the anticipated final to be held in Prague from Nov. 20-23, where the riders who won the Grand Prix in the 16 rounds of the championship will meet.
