Car bomb kills two Iraqi

Baghdad: Two Iraqis were killed and 12 others wounded in a car bomb blast in four different areas of Baghdad.

Baghdad Operations Command 's spokesman Saad Maan said in a statement on Sunday that one Iraqi was killed and three others were wounded by a parked car bomb in Obeidi area while a bomb explosion in the Sadr City has injured three people.

He added that a bomb exploded inside a passenger car in the Sha'ab area has wounded four people while another explosive device exploded inside a passenger car on Mohammad Qasim road killing one person and injuring two others.

In a relevant development, the Baghdad Operations Command announced the discovery of rockets, an explosive belt and explosive devices in northern and southern Baghdad. (QNA)
