Doha, Qatar: The 11th edition of Hospitality Qatar 2026 opened at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC) yesterday, bringing together 120 local and international exhibitors to showcase innovations and explore business opportunities in the country’s growing hospitality and tourism sectors.

Organised by IFP Qatar, the three-day exhibition, running from October 12 to 14, has attracted 90 local exhibitors and 30 international participants from Oman, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, India and Jordan.

The event brings together senior officials, ambassadors, business leaders and industry experts, providing a platform for stakeholders across the hotel, restaurant, café and catering industries to exchange expertise, establish partnerships and explore emerging market opportunities.

The exhibition features companies operating in a range of sectors, including hotels and resorts, interior design and furniture, food and beverages, restaurant and catering equipment, technology, and environmentally friendly hospitality solutions.

Chief of Operations Affairs at Qatar Tourism Omar Abdulrahman Al Jaber said the organisation’s support for the exhibition reflected its commitment to developing the hospitality sector and improving service quality.

“Our support for the 11th edition of Hospitality Qatar reflects our commitment to developing the hospitality sector and enhancing the quality of its services, helping strengthen Qatar’s position as a leading global destination for tourism and business events,” he said.

Al Jaber described the exhibition as a vital platform for sharing expertise, presenting innovations and supporting efforts to improve service standards and strengthen the competitiveness of Qatar’s tourism and hospitality industry.

Director of Commercial Affairs and Operations at IFP Qatar Hayat Bayan said the latest edition marked an important milestone for the event, which has brought together thousands of industry leaders, experts and innovators over the past decade.

She highlighted the exhibition’s role in connecting investors, suppliers and hotels, while creating opportunities for partnerships and providing businesses with access to new technologies, solutions and industry trends.

The event also features a programme of specialised activities, including conferences, live demonstrations and interactive workshops led by international experts. The sessions are designed to examine emerging trends and innovations shaping the future of hospitality services.

Culinary excellence is another major feature of the exhibition, with the Salon Culinaire bringing together professional chefs and emerging culinary talents for competitions and live cooking demonstrations.

Ambassadors of Taste for the Global Gastronomy, the event’s Gastronomy Partner, supports the culinary programme, promoting food tourism, cultural exchange and excellence in gastronomy.

The Ambassadors of Excellence Gala, organised in partnership with Qatar Tourism, will recognise leading institutions and brands for their contributions to excellence and development in the hospitality and tourism sectors.

The exhibition’s 11th edition underscores the role of industry platforms in fostering innovation, strengthening business connections and supporting the continued development of Qatar’s hospitality and tourism sectors.
