Over 26000 abandoned vehicles removed

DOHA:  Marzouk Mubarak Al Musaifri, Chairman of the Transportation Department, member of the Committee for Removal of Abandoned Vehicles said during the period from 2013 March 29 to 2015 October 6, his department has seized 26,013 abandoned vehicles.

The committee task comes under the great attention given by the Ministry of Municipality & Urban Planning for maintaining the civic image of Qatar.

The municipal committees has lifted a variety of abandoned breakdown vehicles, machinery and equipment and all untidy aspects, whether in the main streets, secondary  roads, or external parking lots, upon completion of all  applicable procedures in accordance with Law 8, 1974. The Committee has earned QR 11,400,217.30 in revenue.
