Doha: The Grand Mufti of Kosovo and the President of the Islamic chiefdom in Kosovo, Sheikh Naim Trnava, praised Qatar’s interest in developing and managing Waqf for rendering charitable services. During his visit to the General Directorate of Endowments (Awqaf) at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Sheikh Trnava pointed to the role of Islamic Waqf through history in the development of community, promotion of solidarity and fulfilling needs of the poor.
