Saudi stock index closes lower

Riyadh: The Saudi Exchange's main benchmark index closed lower on Sunday, falling 142.70 points to finish at 10,864.57, with a total trading value of SAR 3.8 billion.

Trading volume reached 187 million shares, with shares of 42 companies advancing, while 221 companies saw their shares decline.

Also, the parallel market index, Nomu, closed down 53.44 points at 21,579.19, with trading value totaling SAR 8.9 million and a volume of more than 1.7 million shares.
