Doha: Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign HE Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani and Minister for European and International Affairs of the Republic of Austria HE Beate Meinl-Reisinger held a telephone conversation.
Discussion during the call dealt with the two countries' cooperation relations and ways to bolster them in addition to the the latest regional developments, particularly the diplomatic efforts and joint coordination aimed at de-escalation and the enhancement of security and stability in the region.
During the call, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs affirmed the State of Qatar's support for all diplomatic efforts and endeavors aimed at a solution that guarantees freedom of maritime navigation and paves the way for a comprehensive agreement achieving sustainable peace in the region.
