Ljubljana: State Secretary for Political and Multilateral Affairs at Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia H E Samuel Zbogar met yesterday with Ambassador of Qatar (non-resident) to Slovenia H E Sultan bin Salmeen Al Mansouri, on the occasion of the end of his tenure.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed relations and cooperation between the two countries.
The Slovenian State Secretary commended the development of Slovenian-Qatari relations, expressing his appreciation for the achievements made by Qatar in various fields. He also pointed out the exchange of visits between the two friendly countries, and its contribution to giving a strong impetus to bilateral relations.
He also commended the efforts exerted by the Qatari Ambassador during his tenure, which contributed to supporting and developing bilateral relations towards broader horizons, in a way that serves the interests of the two countries’ peoples.
The Ambassador stressed Qatar’s keenness to strengthen bonds of friendship and cooperation with Slovenia.
