Doha, Qatar: UK Maritime Trade Operations issued a warning stating that it had received a report of a tanker being struck by an unknown projectile in the port bow.
It said that the incident was reported 6 nautical miles east of Oman.
The agency added that the crew is safe, with no reports of environmental impact. The tanker has continued to its next port of call, it added.
