Doha: Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H E Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani held yesterday at the Amiri Diwan an official talks session with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova H E Natalia Gavrilita.
During the session, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and ways to develop and strengthen them in various fields, especially economic, agricultural and food security, in addition to discussing the latest regional and international situations of mutual interest.
A number of Their Excellencies the Ministers attended the session. On the Moldovan side, it was attended by Their Excellencies members of the official delegation.
After the session, the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and the Prime Minister of Moldova Natalia Gavrilita witnessed the signing of an agreement on technical, scientific and economic cooperation in the field of agriculture, and an agreement on the abolition of entry visas for holders of ordinary passports between the two countries.
The Prime Minister and Minister of Interior hosted a luncheon banquet in honor of the Prime Minister of Moldova and her accompanying delegation.
The Prime Minister of Moldova had arrived earlier at the Amiri Diwan, where she was accorded an official reception ceremony.
