The Department of Physical Education at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education recently concluded a swimming course organised for kindergarten and grade one students.
The programme under the theme — “Let us swim and learn” was organised by the Ministry of Education in cooperation with Qatar Swimming Association and School Sport Association at the Swimming Pool of Al-Arabi Sports Club.
The programme aimed to teach children the basic principles of swimming. The Ministry said the first phase of the programme included schools in West Bay, Al Wafaa and Al Muntazah areas and other schools will be covered in the next academic year.
