DOHA: Real estate transactions jumped remarkably to QR2.63bn last week with major contribution from two big deals — a commercial complex in Al Gharrafa and a palace in Muraikh— worth over QR500m.
Many properties in the range of QR50m and QR100m also sold out. A total 160 deals were signed (between May 3 to 7) worth QR2,631,698,109, according to the weekly real estate report issued by the Property Registration Office at the Ministry of Justice.
The highest deal was recorded at Al Gharrafa where a commercial complex in an area of 21,020 sq metres sold out at QR263m, followed by a palace in Muraikh in an area of 78,983 square meters at QR255m.
A multi-used building measuring 10,932 square meters sold out at the rate of QR183m in Al Gharrafa. Another multi-used facility at Al Mansura in an area of 1,739 square meters provided QR110m to its owner. A housing complex at Rawdat Al Khail sold at the rate of QR94m.The Peninsula
