A Sandiganbayan justice called on the Office of the Ombudsman to file the second and third batches of Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) cases, while another magistrate chided a prosecutor for saying it is not the prosecution’s call if these cases will be filed or not.

Sandiganbayan Fourth Division Chairman Jose Hernandez urged the filing of more PDAF cases after whistleblower Marina Sula told the anti-graft court that she is willing to become a witness in the pork barrel scam for the next 10 years.

Sula was at the Sandiganbayan yesterday as prosecution witness in the bail hearing of Masbate Governor Rizalina Seachon Lanete who has been charged with plunder in connection with the pork barrel scam.
