3m mobile customer milestone

DOHA: Ooredoo yesterday announced it has reached the milestone of three million mobile customers, as the company continues to offer a wide portfolio of services on its bigger and faster network. 
In 2014, Ooredoo announced the achievement of three million total customers, which included fixed, mobile and other services. Now the company has reached more than three million customers using mobile services, a truly ground-breaking accomplishment for the national telecom company.
As well as popular prepaid (Hala) and postpaid (Shahry) services, the company offers top-speeds for all mobile Internet users with its 4G network offering 96 percent outdoor coverage — an unmatched service in Qatar — and up to 225 Mbps, nearly double the average speed in areas of Doha, for its 4G+ Network.
The 4G+ Network offers customer’s access to superfast mobile Internet so they can take advantage of a smooth browsing experience to stay in touch, check emails, video call, and more.
