Doha, Qatar: The Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center organised an awareness lecture at the student residence in Education City on the importance of moral values, remaining steadfast in upholding them, and the benefits they bring in both this life and the Hereafter.
The lecture witnessed notable engagement and positive interaction from the participating students. It was held in coordination with the Student Housing Administration at Education City, which provided the necessary facilitation and full support for the successful delivery of the programme.
During the lecture, the Center’s delegate highlighted the importance of cultivating and adhering to sound moral values for the benefit of the individual in both worldly life and the Hereafter.
He explained that maintaining a strong focus on the Hereafter serves as the principal motivation for commitment to noble values and upright character.
He further noted that a person’s ability to resist desires and remain steadfast in faith when faced with doubts and temptations is what grants true distinction in this world and the next, and guides the individual toward goodness and success in both.
The organisation of this programme reflects the Center’s ongoing commitment to responding to the needs of its target groups and strengthening cooperation with various local institutions, in a way that contributes to spreading ethical and behavioural awareness, addressing community needs, and enhancing religious understanding.
