Doha: Artists from different parts of the country gathered at Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art for the launch of its ‘Creative Conversation for Artists’ programme. The programme, which will run on the second Tuesday of every month, brings together artists of different backgrounds and age groups in Qatar and provides them with a space to network, showcase their work and latest projects and discuss their careers, inspirations and practices in the art field.
The event, which was organised under the patronage of H E Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Chairperson of Qatar Museums, highlights Mathaf’s commitment to exploring artistic production and developing programmes that stimulate creativity and develop an engaged and inspired cultural audience.
