7th Heaven Arts Center located in Al Waab area.
7th Heaven Arts Center will mark its official opening on Sunday in the presence of Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, General Director of the Cultural Village Foundation-Katara.
Located in Al Waab area, opposite Doha College, 7th Heaven Arts is an art institute providing professional training in from painting, design and print making to portfolio development and exhibition planning.
The institute features excellent facilities, well equipped studios and inspiring ambience which is every aspiring artist's dream. It is a development project concerned with creativity, and offers a wide range of specialised quality programs customised to different age groups, professional training programmes on various techniques and technical skills, as well as community outreach programmes.
During its establishment phase, the centre was able to take confident steps towards care and refinement of talents by participating in Darb Al Saei during the National Day celebrations, in addition to specialized courses launched with the participation of Qatari artists, who presented their experience and expertise to the new generation of artists in Qatar.
The opening ceremony will include a press conference, where the centre’s chairman, artist Amal Al Aathem, will highlight the objectives of establishing the centre.
The opening of the centre will mark a strong start to achieve the objectives of the centre, in partnership with State Institutions in the public and private sectors, to achieve Qatar's vision in the field of culture and the arts, as an integral part of the country's development strategy, said the centre’s management.
