Doha: Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) will participate in the 23rd annual forum of the Arab Hospitals Federation in Cairo, Egypt today.
The theme for this year’s event is “Towards Launching New Healthcare Strategies”.
This year’s forum coincides with the Arab health ministers' meeting. Healthcare leaders and providers from Arab countries will discuss the emerging healthcare trends and attend scientific sessions. The forum also includes an exhibition for medical supplies.
A delegation from HMC is attending the forum at the invitation of the Arab Hospitals Federation.
HMC is committed to attend this significant forum to showcase the developments of healthcare in Qatar and to explore the latest information in healthcare regionally and internationally.
Ali Al Khater, Chief Communications Officer at HMC and Chair of the Ministry of Public Health’s Healthcare Communications Committee is leading HMC’s delegation and said the healthcare services provided by HMC is aligned with the international standards in terms of quality and improvement.
The participation in the forum is to share expertise across healthcare organisations in Arab countries and to showcase the developments of the healthcare sector in Qatar represented by the corporation being the main provider for healthcare in Qatar.

HMC is committed to effectively attend the Arab Hospitals Federation forum to explore the international information in healthcare and to showcase the development of treatment programmes and health management. This participation highlights the importance of sharing the healthcare expertise in Qatar with the participating health delegates and leaders in the sessions and the exhibition.” said Al Khater.
During the scientific programme of the Arab Hospitals Federation forum, Mohamad Mubarak Al Noimi, Deputy Chief Arab Hospitals Federation will chair a discussion panel entitled: “New Ways to Develop the Healthcare in Arab Countries”.
HMC will also participate in additional two panels, while Nasser Al Naimi, Deputy Chief Quality Officer and Deputy Chief of the Centre for Patient Experience and Staff Engagement (CPESE) will speak in two sessions about the digital transformation of public health issues and the change towards patient centred care.
HMC will also be represented during the exhibition, which is held as part of the forum and attended by various Arab healthcare organisations and international providers for medical services and equipment. The exhibition will showcase the latest discoveries and technologies in different medical fields.
The exhibition attracts various healthcare professionals such as suppliers, production companies, and healthcare service agencies across the Arab countries.
