Sudanese vice president calls on international community not to support rebels

Khartoum: Sudanese Vice President Hassabo Mohamed Abdel Rahman has called on the international community not to support the rebels and to work to promote peace and stability by stopping arms trade and the policies of military and logistical support and shelter.
In a statement issued last night, the Sudanese Vice President renewed his country's keenness to continue peace process and promote stability throughout the country as well as to adopt dialogue as a basis for resolving problems, adding that there is no place for those seeking to impose their agenda through force.
He also underlined that the National Dialogue Conference, currently being held in the capital Khartoum, is open for everyone to participate with high guarantees provided by the country for the opposition and armed movements, stressing his country's commitment to the pledges made to implement the final output of the National Dialogue.
