The Indian Punjabi Association, Qatar, celebrated the festival of lights Diwali for the very first time with all Punjabi community members at the Plaza Inn Hotel recently. Famous Punjabi comedian from Bollywood Gurpreet Ghuggi was the main guest at the function. Children performed various Punjabi dances and a DJ belted out Punjabi hits through the evening. The organisers also arranged traditional Punjabi food.
