Bangladesh School organises Cultural Excellence Felicitation
Bangladesh School organised the Cultural Proficiency Felicitation and Prize Distribution Ceremony at the school premise to honour and encourage the students for their performance in Qatar National Day, 2013 cultural competitions and for wining first prize.
Students were felicitated with prizes and certificates as a token of appreciation. Syed Masud Mahmood Khundoker, Chairman of Bangladesh School and College, Principal, Vice Principal, Faculty Members and students were present at this occasion.
The students of Bangladesh school showed their best performance in the cultural competition programs on December 18, 2013 which was organised by the Committee of Associate Programmes for the National Day in collaboration with expatriate schools and community organisations.
Bangladeshi, Pakistani and Indian communities including community schools had performed their cultural shows, thematic dances, songs, comedy shows, fashion shows and many more events. Participants from Bangladesh School excelled in all categories and secured first position. Bangladesh School got the first prize and was awarded QR10,000.
The felicitation programme commenced with the welcome speech given by Principal Md Jashim Uddin, who congratulated the students for bringing honour for the institution and encouraged them to participate in cultural activities and show their potential. The Chairman congratulated the students, teachers and parents who inspired them to participate in the programmes. He hoped that in the upcoming victory day of Bangladesh and Qatar National day the students will better their performance.The Peninsula
