Registration for the Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani Holy Quran Competition concludes today.
As of yesterday, the competition’s organising committee said that the number of participants has reached 1405, of which 845 registered for the memorisation of all the chapters of the Holy Quran contest. Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed competition includes several categories of the Holy Quran, including the complete Quran memorisation as well as categories of five to 25 chapters for Qatari citizens.The committee will receive participants from 8am to 12.30pm and from 4pm to 8pm at Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Hall in Frij Kulaib. The first prize winner of the complete Quran memorization category will receive QR100,000 while the first winner in 25 chapters category will receive QR85,000.
