DOHA: Qatar Meteorology Department issued a warning to people venturing into sea that the thunderstorms are moving eastward. “An increase in wave height with fresh winds is expected,” they tweeted.
The department also said that the thunderstorm west of Messaid is still active and another convective cell shows up southward of the country.
They also cautioned motorists as hailstones and winds are expected in some areas and this sometimes leads to dust and low vision.
