Doha, Qatar: Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani offered his condolences on the passing of the Father Amir HH Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani.
On his account on X, HE the Prime Minister wrote: "We extend our deepest condolences to ourselves and to our nation on the passing of our great national loss, the Father Amir HH Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani. His legacy will forever remain alive in the hearts of both citizens and residents, as well as in the nation’s march of progress and renaissance. His achievements will stand as an enduring testament to a pivotal era in the history of the State of Qatar. We pray to Allah to have mercy on him and grant him eternal peace. We bear witness to what he offered his nation, his people, and the Arab and Islamic nations—a legacy that will remain a source of pride and honor for generations to come. No words can truly express our gratitude to him. To Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return."
