Cultural Village Foundation, Katara has concluded its Eid Al Adha activities which included art workshops for children, and various theatrical performances
Movie screenings, and the play “Karim Challenges the Leader” will continue today, Tuesday.
The cultural village explained that its art workshops have been participated with a great number of children and were well-received by kids and their families. Hosted at Building 18, the workshops varied from colouring, face and ceramic paintings, drawing on canvas, balloon formation, and mascots shows. Theatrical performances were also popular, which are “Friends of Nature” and “Forest Animals,” a silent play consisting of various sketches, and a shadow theatre show.
Al Thuraya Planetarium will continue its movie screenings today where the films 8 Scoops of Milky Way, The Stars, and The Zula Patrol Show will be screened at 5pm, 6pm and 7pm respectively. Registration is needed to be able to watch the movies through Al Thuraya Planetarium’s website. The entry is open to all age groups and entrance is only for vaccinated individuals.
Katara Beach continues its summer offers from a discount of up to 50 percent for water games and free entry for those under 18 years old.
The play, “Karim Challenges the Leader” will be conducted also today, with two shows, at 5pm and 7pm. The play is of a social and comic character, written by Talib Al Dos, directed by Faisal Rashid, and starring a group of young artists, including Muhammad Al Sayegh, Muhammad Adel, Abdullah Al Othm, Ibrahim Al Aqidi, Yasmine, Fatima Al Shrouqi. It targets children and all family members.
