Pope Francis greets thousands of faithful before holding a mass at Caacupe, 55km away from Asuncion, Paraguay, yesterday. According to a decree by Vatican read during this mass in presence of the Pope, the sanctuary of Caacupe has been promoted as minor basilica. Pope Francis is in Paraguay as part of his Latin American tour.
