Doha: The Gate Mall welcomed scores of children to celebrate Garangao, with entertainment activities for kids of all ages, in cooperation with Salam Stores.
The mall and Salam hosted a world-class five-dimensional screening of popular movies. The cinema is the first-of-its-kind in Qatar and exclusive viewing treated children to a unique experience through 3D glasses, moving seats and real-world senses.
Regional cartoon character Um Khammas surprised kids as part of activities, including interactive story telling sessions, face painting and a handcrafted ceramic activity from Café Ceramiqué.
Children were treated to goody bags containing sweets and gifts.
The mall and Salam have announced an extension of the celebration until the end of Eid and new activities include Muppet show, traditional henna art and a bouncing castle for kids. Cartoon characters such as Tom and Jerry, Sponge Bob square pants and Disney’s Frozen ensemble will also make special appearances.
