H H Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation (QF), attended the first theatre performance of Showtime! – musical starring students from across QF schools.
Showtime’s stage debut at Education City was also attended by H E Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, Vice-Chairperson and CEO of QF, dignitaries, and parents and friends of the young performers, as well as members of the public who enjoyed renditions of favourite songs from about 20 famous musicals.
The show is created by Qatar Foundation Schools Productions and features students from Grades 3-12 – supported by QF teachers – and music from QF’s Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra. The live stage shows debuted yesterday and run for a three-day period.
