DOHA: The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Agriculture of India, has invited applications for Netaji Subhas-ICAR International Fellowships (ICAR-IFs) for 2015-16, the Indian embassy said yesterday.
ICAR-IFs are available to pursue doctoral degrees (PhD) in agricultural and allied science in the identified priority areas. Thirty fellowships are available for a programme leading to PhD under the scheme, the embassy said in a statement.
Fellowships are available to Indians for study abroad in the identified overseas university/institutions having strong research and teaching capabilities; and to overseas (non-Indian) candidates for study in the best Indian agricultural universities in the ICAR-Aus system.
Guidelines, including application proforma, eligibility criteria, priority areas for study and fellowship amount are available on ICAR website www.icar.org.in.
