Doha, Qatar: The Board of Trustees of the Qatar Football Association (QFA) has officially announced the commencement of the voting process for the 2024–2025 QFA Awards. The announcement came during a recent board meeting focused on finalising preparations for the upcoming QFA Awards Ceremony, scheduled to take place on May 26.

The Board has approved the launch of the official nomination process for voting-based categories, which include: Best Player, Best Coach, Best Under-23 Player, and for the first time, the Best Goalkeeper Award.

Nomination forms and statistical reference lists have been circulated to key stakeholders involved in the voting process.

These include Ooredoo Stars League club coaches, club company heads, the coaches of the Qatar national and Olympic (Under-23) teams, media representatives, the host broadcaster, representatives from QFA and QSL, Aspire Zone Foundation, Qatar Players Association, and the President and Board Members of the QFA Awards Board of Trustees.

In a notable highlight, Roger Guedes of Al Rayyan has secured the Mansour Muftah Award for Top Scorer, netting an impressive 21 goals in the Ooredoo Stars League.

Additionally, winners of the non-voting categories - Football for All Award, Best Referees Award, and the newly introduced Best Stand Award - will be announced concurrently at the awards ceremony.
