Assistant Undersecretary for Municipal Affairs at the Ministry of Municipality Mansour Abdullah Zaid Al Mahmoud receives the award during a ceremony.
Doha: Qatar, represented by the Ministry of Municipality has secured first place in the 4th GCC Prize for Municipal Work 2021-22. The prize was given by General Secretariat of GCC for a project entitled 'Management of Recycling and Waste Treatment in Qatar.'
Director General of Kuwait Municipality, Eng. Ahmed Al Manfouhi and Director of Municipalities and Housing Department in the General Secretariat of GCC Eng. Abdullah Al Rabei presented the Prize to Assistant Undersecretary for Municipal Affairs at the Ministry of Municipality Mansour Abdullah Zaid Al Mahmoud during a ceremony.
GCC Prize for Municipal Work comes within the framework of council’s endeavour to increase positive competition between its countries and aspire to provide further development in the areas of municipal work.
The award was launched in its fourth session for the year (2021-2022) under the name Best Practices in Waste Management and Recycling.
