Doha: The Ministry of Municipality has launched the “Enquire Service” for facilitating communication with its staff and the customers.
A unified phone number (8885) has been assigned for communication with customers from within the ministry, and the phone number (44348885) from outside the ministry, said a press statement yesterday.
Jabor Abdullah Al Attiyah, Director of Human Resources Department, said the services provided by the Department to the staff such as personnel affairs, wages and salaries, leaves and personal transactions, training and development and air tickets, will be completed by means of the unified number.
The number is abbreviated and handy to the customers for use in communicating with any section of the Human Resources Department, and through which, the customer will be notified with the latest available services and references. One advantage of the new phone service is the possibility of recording calls, which helps documentation of the quality of staff performance.
