Doha: The Ministry of Economy and Commerce, in collaboration with Al Boraq Automobiles Co W.L.L, dealer of Porsche vehicles in Qatar, has announced the recall of Porsche Boxster 718 and Carrera 911 models of 2017 because the fastening screws for the fuel collection pipes on the affected vehicles can shear off due to stress corrosion cracking.
The Ministry said the recall campaign comes within the framework of its ongoing efforts to protect consumers and ensure that car dealers follow up on vehicles' defects and repair them.
