Ankara: Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) and cooperation agreement with its Turkish counterpart in the sports sector aims to achieve excellence in the world of sport at all levels through the exchange of knowledge and management and training expertise.
The MoU was signed on the sidelines of the Sport Accord conference, currently being held in the coastal city of Antalya, Turkey, with the participation of a large number of representatives of regional and international sports organizations.
The agreement was signed by the Secretary General of QOC Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and his Turkish counterpart.
The MoU covers exchange of administrative and technical expertise between sports federations and Olympic committees of the two countries as well as the exchange of visits between them in addition to the coordination of positions in various continental and international forums in the field of sports.
Sheikh Saoud said the signing of the agreement would boost sports partnership between the two sides and increase the bilateral cooperation. QNA
