Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar and ex-Sri Lankan paceman Nuwan Zoysa are seen receiving Qatar SC jerseys by a football official at Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium in Doha yesterday. Akhtar, one of the game’s fastest bowlers, joined Zoysa to promote a six-a-side cricket tournament organised by Qsports. Cricketers Akhtar and Zoysa later hit the Shuhaim Bin Hamad Stadium pitch and bowled a few deliveries much to the delight of cricket fans in Doha. Tuskers (centre, above) won the tournament.
