Doha, Qatar: In the context of strengthening cooperation and exchanging expertise in technical systems and digital transformation, the General Directorate of Communications and Information Systems at the Ministry of Interior welcomed a delegation from the Ministry of Interior of Romania, headed by the Deputy General Director of the General Directorate for European Affairs, Schengen Relations, and International Relations, Major General Florin Băjenaru.
The delegation was received by the Director of the Systems Development Department, Lieutenant Colonel Engineer Abdulaziz Al Asmar Al Ruwaili.
A briefing tour was organized, during which the delegation was introduced to the directorate’s work and briefed on the latest systems and technological solutions adopted by the Ministry, particularly in the fields of e-services, artificial intelligence, and data analytics, in addition to the digital infrastructure supporting security and service operations.
A number of strategic projects related to digital transformation were also reviewed, in line with the highest standards of cybersecurity and data governance.
This visit comes as part of the Ministry of Interior’s commitment to strengthening international partnerships and exchanging expertise, contributing to the development of the security system and keeping pace with modern technological advancements.
