Doha: Lesha Bank LLC (Public) (the “Bank”) organised a blood donation drive in association with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC).
The event, which was held at the Bank’s headquarters at the Tornado Tower during the month of January, was part of the Bank’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives within the scope of its community engagement efforts.
Commenting on the initiative Mohammed Mohammed – Deputy Chief Operating Officer (DCOO) at Lesha Bank said, “We are delighted to witness the success of our effort to organize a blood donation campaign in support of HMC. It is our duty to fulfill our part as a responsible corporate citizen, and to contribute as much as we can to shore up the country’s efforts in improving public health and saving lives."
"The event had an excellent turnout, and I would also like to extend my gratitude to HMC, all the stakeholders, Tornado Tower management, blood donors from other companies and everyone who donated or helped in spreading the word,” he added.
Lesha Bank plans to hold the blood donation drive on an annual basis, to support HMC and their commitment to a robust CSR strategy.
