Doha, Qatar: The State of Qatar participated yesterday in the meeting of the GCC Undersecretaries of the Ministries of Culture, held in Muscat, Oman.
Assistant Undersecretary for Cultural Affairs at the Ministry of Culture Dr. Ghanem bin Mubarak Al Ali chaired the Qatari delegation to the meeting, which discussed many topics including the strategic cultural efforts of the GCC countries (2020-2030), coordinating the GCC countries’ positions in international cultural forums and organizations and implementing the annual plan for cultural events and activities, as well as the international cooperation in the cultural field.
The meeting comes after a long journey of achievements, and a continuation of tireless cultural work, which culminated in the drawing up of the cultural strategy of the GCC countries as a guide for cultural work, and the production of many joint cultural projects, events, plans and programs, which kept pace with the regional, Arab and international cultural transformations.
Today, the GCC Ministers of Culture will hold their 27th meeting in the Sultanate of Oman.
