Doha, Qatar: Beneficial rainfall was reported yesterday across parts of northern Qatar, particularly between Al Jumailiya and Al Ghuwairiya.
Social media footage shared by local accounts captured the rain falling amid pleasant conditions in the northern regions.
Residents welcomed the showers, with many expressing hopes that the rainfall would bring further blessings.
The precipitation comes after the Qatar Meteorology Department had earlier indicated a chance of local convective clouds that could produce rain in some areas during the hot daytime weather. Meanwhile, the forecast for today points to continued hot conditions across the country.
Temperatures are expected to reach around 44°C and a low of 34°C, accompanied by a high UV index during the afternoon under mostly clear skies, with light to moderate winds. The chance of rainfall remains low.
Inshore areas may experience some haze at times, while the overall outlook remains dry and sunny for most of the day.
