Doha, Qatar: Al-Rayyan Municipality, in cooperation with the Sustainable Development Goals Ambassadors, organized a workshop on designing and producing sustainable gypsum at Al-Luqta Park, as part of the “My City is Sustainable” initiative.
This initiative was launched by the municipality to promote concepts of sustainable development and activate the use of public parks during the summer season.
The workshop introduced students to the uses of sustainable gypsum and included practical activities on safe reuse methods. It is part of the municipality’s efforts to instill values of innovation and social responsibility in younger generations.
This initiative aligns with Al-Rayyan Municipality’s broader efforts to promote sustainability and social responsibility, and to support educational initiatives for children that combine fun and learning, aiming to raise a generation capable of creativity and innovation.
