Strong Indian business presence at Project Qatar

Doha, Qatar: The Kerala Business Forum (KBF), an affiliated organisation of the Indian Business and Professionals Council (IBPC), Doha, under the aegis of the Embassy of India, is participating in Project Qatar 2026 with a dedicated pavilion comprising of 16 Indian-run companies from diverse and emerging sectors.

Ambassador of India to Qatar, H E Vipul, inaugurated the KBF Pavillion. The pavilion reflects the contribution of Indian enterprises in Qatar’s economic landscape and underscores the strengthening of bilateral commercial ties. The Ambassador also visited the companies participating under the Global B2B Network and BNI Qatar pavilions, interacting with exhibitors and reviewing their products and services.

The Indian presence at the exhibition highlights a wide spectrum of sectors, including artificial intelligence, information technology, cybersecurity, digital solutions, software development, sustainability solutions, engineering and infrastructure services, construction and contracting, real estate, packaging, logistics, media, healthcare and medical supplies, automotive solutions, business consulting, and tourism and hospitality, showcasing the diversity, and innovation  footprint of Indian businesses in Qatar.

Under the KBF Pavilion, notable participating companies include Planet Engineering, QPAC, iProcure, Momentum Media, and MP Traders, representing sectors such as AI and technology, engineering, construction support services, packaging, printing, media, logistics, consultancy, and insurance. Several Indian-run companies are also participating in a stand alone mode. These include Qatar Reliance International (QRI Group), Oriental Trading Company, and Seashore Group, operating in engineering and construction services, general trading, logistics support, and industrial services.

The participation of Indian-run companies at Project Qatar 2026 further strengthens the role of Indian industry in Qatar’s development ecosystem and contributes to deepening economic and commercial cooperation between India and Qatar.
