Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Endowment and Islamic Affairs (Awqaf) announced its participation in the 32nd Doha International Book Fair to be held under the theme of “Knowledge is Light.”
The book fair is set to start on Monday and conclude on June 21. The Ministry said in a statement yesterday that it will have its own pavilion introducing its scientific, jurisprudential, Da’wah, and endowment publications and programmes.
The pavilion of the Ministry of Endowment and Islamic Affairs at the 32nd Doha International Book Fair will include various corners for the ministry’s different departments, in which each department will introduce the public to its work, publications, and hold specialised activities and events.
The departments will include the Department of Islamic Affairs, the Department of Da’wah and Religious, the Guidance including Islamweb, the Department of Research and Islamic Studies, the General Directorate of Endowments, the Department of Zakat Fund, and the Sheikh ‘Abdullah Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center.
