Sidra Medical and Research Center (Sidra) has invited high school students (Qataris and those with Qatari mothers) interested in studying medicine or allied health-related majors to a scholarship open day.
Sidra is hosting the scholarship open day at its Outpatient Clinic in Education City from 8pm to 11pm tomorrow.
Students and their parents will be able to talk to national development officers about scholarship opportunities, hear from sponsored healthcare professionals about their journey of growth and development supported by Sidra. They will also be able to apply for scholarships on the spot. Students will be required to carry their national ID cards with them to register.
Scholarships are being offered for the students including financial and non-financial assistance, in a variety of universities in Qatar and internationally which are listed on the Ministry of Education and Higher Education’s (MOE) website. Upon graduation, the scholarship recipients will take up positions at Sidra.
Scholarships are available for the following types of degrees: Medical degree or equivalent; Bachelor's (Nursing, Pharmacy and Psychology); allied health programmes offered at the College of North Atlantic - Qatar; Technician programmes (Ultrasound Tech, Laboratory Tech and Anesthesia Tech).
