Qatar’s Mubarak Shanan (above), gained entry into the ATP World Tour rankings by winning his first point. Shanan won his first point by defeating countryman Ali Al Sayegh in the first round match at the 2nd Qatar ITF Futures event at Khalifa Tennis Complex. Shanan won 6-0, 6-2. He next faces No. 8 seed, Adrien Bossel of Switzerland.
