Minister of Municipality and Environment H E Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Rumaihi yesterday praised the winning by the Ministry of a number of distinctive Awards of Excellence of Qatar Digital Government at the Fourth QITCOM Exhibition and Conference 2017, valuing in this context the efforts of developing electronic projects and services provided to the public. He urged officials at the Ministry's IT Department to exert more efforts and achieve greater development and progress in this area.
The Undersecretary Assistant for Joint Services at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment, Hamad Khalifa Al Khalifa, said the Ministry's winning of three awards is an honour, pointing out that the responsibility would be bigger and will require more diligence and determination. The Ministry has won the first place as the best government agency in the digital transformation, the third place as the best service provider via mobile apps and the best service provider to the government sector.
