Doha, Qatar: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met at his office in the Amiri Diwan on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, with Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran HE Dr. Ali Larijani, on the occasion of his visit to the country.
During the meeting, they discussed cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and strengthen them, in addition to discussing developments in the region and efforts to reduce tensions and enhance regional security as well as a number of regional and international issues of common concern.
The meeting was attended by Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, Chief of the Amiri Diwan HE Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, and a number of senior officials.
From the Iranian side, it was attended by Deputy Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council HE Dr. Ali Bagheri, Assistant Foreign Minister HE Alibek, and a number of senior officials.
