Here are a few interesting events you can partake in during the weekend. As Qatar National Day (QND) is fast approaching there are a few events that are part of the QND celebrations. Pop-up exhibition
A solo exhibition 'Pop-up' features 140 conceptual art pieces by Italian artist Sabrina Puppin.
On until tomorrow at Eiwan Al Gassar at The St. Regis Doha, Sabrina Puppin’s work uses colors and shapes to test the limits of reality and our perception of it.

Unwasted
A unique event that encourages the concept of zero-waste ethos in response to global problem of waste. On until December 27, the exhibition features an installation, workshops, film screenings and sale of upcycled clothes and accessories.

Qatar National Library has something for everyone this month as it celebrates Qatar National Day, from story writing to storytelling, interactive contests, Artificial Intelligence experts to meet robots and much more.

National Day Celebrations at Mall of Qatar
Join family-friendly diverse activities for 8 days to celebrate Qatar National Day. Ground floor of Mall of Qatar will have Ball Pit, Kids Stage and Majlis in the Luxury Court, while on the first floor there will be henna, face painting, falconry, traditional handicrafts and calligraphry. Arda artists will provide roaming entertainment throughout the mall. Apart from these MOQ will also have live shows on its Oasis Stage.

The Desert Ode Exhibition
Qatar Museums unveiled Jawaher Al Mannai’s The Desert Ode exhibition at the Fire Station: Artist in Residence. The exhibition pays tribute to the palm tree and its symbolism.
