Organisers of the Nation Cup 2014 held the Draw for the Qatar National Day Cricket Tournament, which will run from December 10 to December 17 at the Old Ideal Indian School grounds.
The Nation Cup 2014 will see eight teams from five countries vying for the cup. The participating countries are Qatar represented by Qad-Net Team, Bangladesh by BCT, India by Hanan and Tuskers, Pakistan by Al Khor Community and Qatari Diar and Sri Lanka by Serendeb and New Design.
The main sponsorSiraj Virani, Managing Director of Qad-Net Qatar, was the chief guest at the occasion. The programme was hosted by Milan Arun. Famous Pakistani wicket keeper and batsman Kamran Akmal will attend the opening ceremony today.
Jerseys representing colours of each country will be provided by the organizing committee. A minute of silence was observed in tribute of the Australian batsman Phillip Hughes who passed away recently.
